Two versions of the body chair were created:  a hollow organic form shaped to the contours of the body with water circulating inside the form allowing the viewer to feel this on the exterior of the form, the other was constructed out of chalk.

“The chair is intended to play a role in the Greyhound Series as that of a soother of sorts that connects the inner to the outer physiological currents in one's body. As water pulsates throughout the interior of the form, the chair walls operate as a membrane for sensation and memory. In poetic terms the piece is intended to operate as a metaphor for feeling the water under the bridge.” RH
