“This concrete bed is modeled after a child’s mattress. The place where normally a head would be resting is a burning inferno pillow. It is a kind of representation of conscious unrestlessness. It is also about the endurance of growing up and getting through long nights of troubled times and heartbreak. It has been suggested that the mind never really stops operating and that dreaming is just the natural course the mind must take once the body is pacified.”  RH
